Second adult interview

  1. Details of Interview: Bill Lajiness
  2. What is their job title? Welder fabricator. 
  3. What are some of their responsibilities? He makes sure everything gets done how it should. And he is a crew leader.
  4. What type of education was needed to obtain this job? High school diploma.
  5. Was their any "on-the-job training" in addition to formal education? He said he learns as he goes along. Also, he said every job is different in its own way.
  6. What are the hours worked and number of days worked? 8-10/day. 5-6 days/week.
  7. Do they work overtime?  If so how are they compensated for overtime? Yes, it  is time and a half pay.
  8. Dress code: what is typical for the average worker?  Do higher management dress differently? Wear uniform distributed by company. All cotton so it does not burn easily. Yes, it does differ from higher management. Higher management wears jeans, but everyone has to wear safety goggles.
  9. What are some things they like about their job? He likes that there is something different to do everyday. Also, he said he like the people and the atmosphere he works in. He also likes the challenge his job presents.
  10. What things do they dislike about their job? Something he dislikes are some of the attitudes of the people. He also said he dislikes the last minute planning the company does. He doesn't like the people that don't listen to what needs to be done.
  11. What is the average starting pay for this type of job? 12-13/hour.
  12. Do they get benefits?  If so, what kind of benefits? Yes, 401K after a year employed. Health care after 90 days you can apply for it. 

First adult interview

  1. Details of Interview: Laura Lajiness
  2. What is their job title? Bridal Consultant.
  3. What are some of their responsibilities? Helping the bride pick out the wedding dress, as well as the brides maids dresses. Also, she answers the phones and deals with customers in costumer service.
  4. What type of education was needed to obtain this job? High school diploma.
  5. Was their any "on-the-job training" in addition to formal education? ye, there is on-the-job training. this includes, watching training videos, role playing, and shadowing other consultants.
  6. What are the hours worked and number of days worked? She works 20 hours/week, Mon-Fri.
  7. Do they work overtime?  If so how are they compensated for overtime? No.
  8. Dress code: what is typical for the average worker?  Do higher management dress differently? Dress code includes the choice between black pants or  black skirt, black or neutral colored top, and black shoes. No, there is no difference between consultants and higher management.
  9. What are some things they like about their job? She likes working with people to pick out there dresses for there special day. Also, she likes the hours compared to some of the other jobs she's had. She also likes the fun atmosphere she works in.
  10. What things do they dislike about their job? She said she would like there to be more hours. 
  11. What is the average starting pay for this type of job? $8.65/hour.
  12. Do they get benefits?  If so, what kind of benefits? Not for part-time.
